Good very little Black Book

This book has it flaws--I would like that the chapters were longer and somewhat a lot of fleshed out; i believe that the subdivision of every chapter into 3 components wasn't invariably necessary; and, I would like that the authors had added a lot of illustrative examples from their individual experiences since they every have such fascinating, exciting, and successful careers. That being said, i'd still advocate this book to anyone (not simply African-American women) who desires to a lot of ably manage his or her career. whereas I had heard a number of the information before, several of them were new and contemporary, and that they extremely helped me to rethink ways in which I may accelerate my skilled progress. I additionally extremely appreciate that, instead of simply spouting platitudes, the authors offer specific, concrete action steps for his or her readers to follow in varied situations--in my experince, this is often rare, therefore the inclusion could be a terribly notable and welcome amendment from what's contained in similar literature. Finally, I liked that the book was informative however still a fast and simple read--very helpful when making an attempt to balance future skilled development with current skilled responsiblities. All in all, a decent "little black book".
